Deliverables: Animated explainer segments to be inserted to full videos
The Federal Election was coming up. Network Sevens coverage included explainer videos about the election process.
The brief required animation for two sections of the script, coverage for Electorates and First Past the Post vs Preferential System, and also coverage about The Legislative Branch.

Concept/Considerations
Initially I created rough sketches from keywords off the script.
Certain parts of the script, "checks and balances," as an example, didn't immediately inspire any visuals.
I found that the Australian Parliament House's website details the agencies and wings of parliament who are considered parts of those checks and balances. Although I initially looked for narrative possibilities, infographics became the intuitive communication tool.
